Hello there!

I’m Helene - a UX designer from Norway, now based in Copenhagen. Outside of design, I coach climbing classes and work at a climbing gym.

Prior to UX design, I worked as a teacher in Norway, and language school teacher in England. This helped me gain experience with valuable traits in the field of UX, e.g. empathic approaches, explaining concepts in clear language, leading discussions and encouraging participation, and problem solving skills.

Additionally, exploring the world has broadened my understanding of cultures and perspectives, whether it has been through an exchange year in South-Africa, volunteering in Kenya and Peru, walking the Camino de Santiago across Spain, or solo backpacking through Cuba.

I’ve always pursued opportunities to understand people and their motivations better, which also inspired me to look deeper into the field of UX. As a designer, I use my knowledge about people to create user experiences that are human-centered and intuitive.
